Partly. Text recognition, offline dictionaries and offline screen translation work without internet. Cloud dictionaries, cloud translation and pronunciation need a connection, and so does downloading dictionaries from the catalog.

Yes, no one has been banned for using Lookupper. It doesn’t touch game memory: it only takes a screenshot when you press the hotkey and reads the text from that screenshot. However, some anti-cheats may not let you turn on game freeze.

Yes, in most modern games. If it doesn’t work, switch the game to Borderless Window. If there’s no such mode, run the game in a window and stretch it with the Fullscreen button in Lookupper’s settings.
